… he saw a couple sitting there. The boy had his hand on the girls upper leg. She was wearing a short jean skirt. The pastor turned to the boy and said “Do you plan on marrying this girl?”…being a teenage boy he said “I don’t know were just dating” and then the pastor said “Then get your hands off another man’s wife.” This has always hit home with me.
wow.

Well, this is one of the comments I saw on the wall for “Chicago’s 32nd Annual Chinatown Summer Fair.” I couldn’t help but comment (Yosra M) on this. I was going to respond once more but then I just realized he was just trolling. Never feed a troll. Anyway, I dare him to say this to someones face.
Heh, thank you so much! I really appreciate it. =)
Well, I’m not exactly sure what inspires me the most, but I’m pretty sure I know who: but probably Khalid Yasin. His lectures are amazing and he really made me rethink about the choices I make.
A girl posted a comment on one of my hijabi sets on Polyvore, it read:
The Muslim touch in your sets were interesting seeing as I’m from a Muslim country. I’m not a practicing Muslim myself, but I love the fact that ones like you show that even a Muslim can have a sense of beauty and style.
Then I just paused. Really? “Even a Muslim can have a sense of beauty and style.” Muslims are human beings too - some people like to have a sense of style and wear what appeals to them, regardless of their religion. Of course, religion can inspire what you wear. I’m happy she took the time to comment, but it just came off as being awkwardly worded. Dunno, maybe I’m misunderstanding what she meant.
